Well, when I was lost, I suppose it's good advice to stay where you are until someone finds you. But who'd ever think to look for me here - sigh

Where are you, do you know?

For many years, I have worked with people to assist and empower them to come into the fullness of their potential.  I have stirred, exhorted, comforted, challenged, and at times resorted to spiritual dynamite to attain results.  I believe most would agree that it has been anything but boring!

I have an extreme dislike of things that are boring and I have no tolerance for passivity.
If you are going to go after something, go after it with all your heart!

Now it is about YOU!

In order to map a destination, MapQuest requires your current location.  Here are some questions to assess your current position.  Please journal the answers...this is for self-discovery and navigation.

Record your spiritual journey up to the present, including:

  • Here I am all grown up … what do I believe right now?
  • What questions persist that I really want answered about my relationship with God?
  • When I think of a community of people I would like to interact with, I picture … ?
  • I am:  a) timid   b) confident but reserved   c) up for any challenges  d) wild and fearless  e) a mixture.  Describe all the facets that make you ... you!
  • If I could be moving in any direction spiritually right now, what would I be pursuing to learn/grow?
  • How much time and effort am I willing to put into the endeavor?
  • Am I willing to come out of my comfort zone?
  • Am I open to exploration of new ideas, willing to lay everything down and become a seeker of truth?
How do I proceed now?

AMAZING! The Lord placed it in my heart, several months ago, to create an online community to disciple believers. I created one on weebly.com, but did not know how to proceed. I've created a ning.com community, but don't know what to do with it. I would love to incorporate the questions from this post on the ning site. What do you think?

By the way, I've ordered all the books and downloaded all of the lessons from this school. I'm so very grateful to the Lord for directing me here and can't wait to get started!!! I already have the book for the first lesson (God is AWESOME). I want to tell everyone that I know about your school. But, I'm waiting on the Lord's confirmation about who to share this information with!?! Stay abundantly blessed!!!

Thank you Roxanne for your comments.   The materials in the school have helped many to deepen their relationship with the Lord.  Believers of many years have also been deeply impacted.  God is AWESOME ... I agree!  Your excitement is contagious and your new journey has just begun.  I look forward to hearing from you as you press ahead!

You may certainly incorporate the questions from the post on your ning site.  You may also mention the school on your site if you so desire.  Our heart is the increase of the saints.  Please do let others know about the school!  Perhaps some friends will join you on your journey in a small group study.  Let us know if we can be of any help.

      Blessings,
      Barb
