DIRECTIVE TWO

                FOCUS   FOCUS . . . FOCUS

Just Relax Purred the Cat to the Mouse

  • Be alert because the enemy is just waiting for you to relax your focus!

Tactics for defending your spiritual clarity:
  • No passivity allowed!  You are in enemy territory.

  • Train yourself to think spiritually.

  • Question, what is really happening here?  Is this problem         natural or spiritual?

STOP, reflect, and listen!  Train to perceive on another level.  Be both persistent and patient.  Do not expect to have the answer immediately.  Training to think spiritually is an offensive weapon.

The enemy builds structures (strongholds).  The whole structure weakens with the removal of each brick.  The Holy Spirit will direct you in the unseen.  You will begin to see strategies commonly used.  These build upon one another.  When one is uncovered, others will surface.  This process will empower you and reinforce weak areas.

No passivity allowed so . . . draw a structure, number and name the bricks, get started on demolition!

I've become frighteningly passive in the spiritual realm. So passive, that I've opened the door wide to the enemy of my soul just so that I could feel again. And, He busted the door wide open and entered my temple the night before last with a "sensual" (demonic) dream. I have not had dreams like that since I was saved in 1999. Truly, this is a time when we must be watchful and vigilant, for our adversary does seek to erode our faith so that he may devour us.

Yes, we must be watchful and vigilant every day.  Passivity is indeed an invitation to the enemy.  It is helpful to have a prayer partner/s who sound the alarm when it comes knocking.  In our meetings, we would 'clean people off' as they entered.  Just as Jesus washed the disciples feet, we need our feet washed as we walk this dusty earth.  I once said I was going to put a "demon detector" in the entryway to stop unwanted company!  We will be praying for you also.
