FIVE DIRECTIVES FOR STANDING TALL

Like it or not, we must quickly learn to keep our spirits clear, pray, reject passivity, discipline ourselves and stand.  Only then, will we see, taste and experience victory.

DIRECTIVE ONE

  • Is my spirit free and shining?

You have a human spirit in which the Holy Spirit dwells and He communicates with your spirit.  As soon as you awake, take note of your spirit as well as your soul and body, the spirit's outlet.

  • Can you feel your spirit shining?  Is it able to come forward?
  • Is your mind clear or is it full of confusion or problems?  Are you able to order your thoughts and quiet your mind?

  • Are you able to focus and quiet your emotions to be sensitive to the Spirit's leading?

  • Pay attention!  Be sensitive throughout the day for anything that may overshadow you.  Worry, depression, fear, and even over exuberance can cloth your soul.  This will block your sensitivity to the Spirit
  • Now you are in position for advancing.

REMEMBER, you are in a spiritual war that is playing out on an earthly battlefield.  The enemy's number one goal is to pull you out of your place in the heavens.  He wants to draw your focus to this world.

  • Your primary objective is to walk in the authority of the kingdom.  Walk in dominion over every thought, fear, worry, or obstacle.
  • Is something seeking to overshadow you?  Question, "What does God say about this?"  Is this a spirit, a person, a situation, or a combination of all of the above?

  • Speak the Word of God with authority over worry, fear, and cares.  Cast them down.
  • Your victories count.  The victories you win edify the entire Body.

  • Your testimony stands before the spirits of darkness.

This short directive is foundational to wielding the sword of the Spirit.

The order: Jerusalem, Judea, and then the outermost parts of the earth.  We overcome first in our own person, then our home-front, then beyond.

Hey . . . do a spirit check right now!  Is your spirit shining and free?
