CURSES

BLEEP . . . bleep . . . bleep and a little imagination - not the curses we are talking about here.
Most of us have endured and learned to discard that kind of curse.
Proverbs says a causeless curse shall not come. This often leads believers to feel safe and secure. This changes, however, if the source of the curse is demonic.
- Much cursing comes from negativity, bitterness, or resentment. It often originates in anger or offense. Although unpleasant, this does not constitute the word curses we must specifically break.
Demonic influence and suggestion cause words to carry far more power.
Those words can oppress, control, or even destroy another individual. Be especially watchful if you discern strong demonic activity around someone. The enemy will endeavor to bring judgment and word curses against you.
- Example: Upon request, a woman meets with the pastor's wife. She tells the woman of a dream she had about her. Her interpretation is that this woman is destroying her home. The author is a spirit of divination.
- The woman leaves in a literal trans-like state. It lasts until prayer breaks the curses spoken. A deliverance minister counsels her to continue to break curses, commanding the spirits to let her go. He informs her that every time the woman speaks against her, curses will return and oppress.
- She moved within a short time and the episode was over (out of sight = out of mind.
Be alert, wise as serpents and harmless as doves!
