FEELING STUCK -- change your purr - perspective

Grind, grind, grind . . . day in and day out can be full of duties. Grind, grind, grind . . . up and down like a roller coaster. Busy, busy, busy. You are happy, sad, blah, or somewhere in between. Repeat and start another month, only to begin all over again.
Life does not have two modes. It is not a life in the Spirit, working for God, and a life with all the tedium and duty, responding to the world at large. There is only one life . . . a life ‘set apart unto’ Him.
Life from the circle
Picture a circle in your mind. You are in the center of this circle of what you view as your life/work in and for God. Picture those things that draw your mind heavenward, your heart soaring. Spend some time envisioning that life, complete with your desires and vision for the future.
Now . . . what is outside of that circle? Is it your job, responsibilities, requirements, and commitments? It is time to bring all of these things, the things of life, into that circle.
As you yield your life to God, you are to bring all these things under His governance to keep or to change. Because your training was in a world alienated from God, you learned to see it as two different ‘lives’. How can this be reconciled except by changing your perspective?
As an exercise for prayer, picture the circle and bring everything in your life into that circle. Ask God what can remain there and what you need to release. Everything flows out from, and back to, your ‘life in God’. It is His plan, His desire, His ordering.
As new issues present themselves you need to discern whether these things are from Him. Should you keep or discard them? Remember, nothing is ‘aside’ from God. This exercise can help you remove excess baggage and confusion from your life.
As you learn to view life from the circle, it will help you view life totally from life in God and in His will.

love the visual of the circle. easy to picture - not so easy to practice sometimes . . . but it is SO TRUE that HE is the circle, and everything in it should be for His purposes! thanks . . .
