IS ANYONE THIRSTY

I have oftentimes heard believers refer to the promise of rivers of living water flowing from their belly. Did you know there is a condition for the fulfillment of this promise?
IS ANYONE THIRSTY?
Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood forth and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!
He who believes in me … as the Scripture has said, Out from his innermost being springs and rivers of living water shall flow (continuously).[i]
The key to the rivers flowing is to come to Jesus thirsty!
Jesus cried out those words on the final and most important day of the feast. He cried out above the sound of the crowds. He was looking for a response in the hearts of the people. His desire was to see His Spirit poured out abundantly.
Do you want a continuous flow of His life coming from you?
Do you desire to have overflowing anointing to bring to others? If the answer is yes, then I ask you, are you thirsty?Over the years, I have visited places of outpouring. I heard others speak of the manifested presence of God. From their reports, I expected to fall down in the doorway, overpowered by the anointing. Although many undoubtedly experienced this, I was not one of them. I quickly learned that I had to receive by faith and faith alone.
I learned to receive by what I call 'making a demand on the anointing!' I would tell the Father that I was thirsty. Not only was I thirsty, but I needed overflow to accomplish His work. I said, “Lord, you know the size of the Grand Canyon. I am as empty as that, and I need every drop of anointing in this place!” I told God He would have to replenish it for the other hungry people, but I needed all that was presently available. I then received it by faith.
By faith, I made a continuous demand on God to fill every empty place. Sometimes I felt it, other times I did not, but by faith I actively received.
Are you thirsty? If your river flow is low, cry out your thirst to the Lord and drink anew of His presence.
There is a constant revival in the Holy Spirit. He is ever present to fulfill God's promises. Open your heart, picture that Grand Canyon and receive today!
Now is the time to do a flow check! Are rivers of living water flowing out of you?
